Jasons' Background
Jason E. Taylor brings decades of real courtroom experience to every case he handles. His approach is grounded in preparation, transparency, and a deep understanding of how devastating an injury can be—not just physically, but emotionally and financially.
Raised on a farm on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Jason grew up immersed in the outdoors—hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and riding motorcycles. Those early experiences shaped both his work ethic and his connection to the clients he now represents, especially fellow riders. He understands firsthand the realities of being on the road, the risks involved, and the life-altering consequences of negligence.
Jason attended Avon Old Farms School in Connecticut, where he excelled academically and athletically, playing lacrosse and football. He went on to Hobart College in Geneva, New York, completing a four-year degree in just three years. Before law school, he worked in construction and roofing—hands-on work that reinforced his respect for people who earn their living through physical labor.
He earned his law degree with honors from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Jason began practicing law in Charlotte in 1993 and later co-founded a firm in 1996. In 2005, he established what is now Taylor | Serbin Injury Lawyers, building a practice rooted in trial readiness, ethical advocacy, and long-term client trust.
Jason is widely respected for his ability to cut through noise, confront powerful insurance companies, and fight aggressively for what is right. He prepares every file as if it will be tried before a jury—because that preparation is what protects clients and drives meaningful results.
Jason is married to Andie Taylor and is a devoted parent and grandparent. They live on Black Sheep Farm, where life includes dogs, sheep, chickens, bees and a donkey. Outside the office, Jason values family time, reading, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.

I have been riding again regularly for about the last fifteen years. I know what it is like to ride in the rain, at night, in the cold, in the heat, in traffic on multi-lane trucking routes and everything in between. I know what being run off the road feels like as well as putting your bike down. I understand your experience and I know how to fight for your losses. I hope you never need me, and we meet in a bar or a hot dog line or somewhere in a charity ride and become friends. I would rather call you friend, than client, but if you need someone to fight for your losses, I am here for you, and ready to help you. Cheers to staying vertical.
Sincerely,

Testimonials About Jason E. Taylor
From the day Tim came to my house to take my case through the final step, the firm went over the top to help me. A+ experience.

“I could not recommend Jason Taylor’s office enough! They make you feel like family. It has been a year since my case was handled and they still call to check on my family.”
Brooke Propst
The firm represented me in a serious dog attack case, even after I moved out of state. They handled everything with great skill and settled above what I thought was possible.
Jason Taylor worked tirelessly on my motorcycle wreck and got me a settlement I thought was amazing.
Jason called me the minute anything changed—even just to check in. I was hurt in April, reached out in May, and by December we won. His professionalism, knowledge of state law, and communication gave me peace of mind.
“They handle everything from doctors to physical therapy. Always on top of your case and great investigators. You won’t find anyone more qualified.”
